Introduction & Mission

“Smrutishesh Madhukarrao Tamgadge Charitable Trust, Nagpur” (Tamgadge Trust henceforth) is a registered Public Trust under Section 19 of the Maharashtra Public Trust Act, 1950 with a registration no. of E-3573(N), Nagpur.

The following are the objectives of the Smrutishesh Madhukarrao Tamgadge Charitable Trust, Nagpur.

  • To arrange educational scholarships for parentless/orphan girl students.
  • To work in the field of coordination for efforts related to Sickle Cell Anemia disease.
  • To publish literature and books related to Ambedkarite movement and issues related to weaker segment of the Society.
  • To provide professional guidance and assistance to students belonging to SC/ST/OBC and weaker segments of the Society with respect to education and employment based competitive examinations.
  • To work for propagation and development of rational and scientific attitude in the Society.
  • To create a documentation hub for Ambedkarite movement; its genesis, phases and contemporary trends.
  • To promote the culture of free libraries and Abhyasikas for poor students.

What We Do

These are our associates and the Tamgadge Trust engages actively in various social works being undertaken by them.

The Headquarter of the Tamgadge Trust, Smrutishesh Madhukarrao Tamgadge Prerna Prabodhini also has the Head Office of NASCO.

IADF is an organization working globally, building bridges with the similar Ambedkarite forums in other parts of the world. We intend to bring together every Ambedkarite doctor who wants to do something positive for the oppressed society and is willing to contribute towards the cause.
National Alliance of Sickle Cell Organizations (NASCO) is India’s first voluntary, non-profit, national organization.
NASCO mission is to increase awareness in the general public about SCD and advocate for better quality of life for SCD patients.
NASCO acts as a Sickle Cell Anemia umbrella organization for various associations, NGOs working in different States and acts as a link/bridge with active coordination with the Government of India and various State Governments for policy level interventions for improving the case of Sickle Cell Anemia patients.
